Why Imran Khan and PTI ? 5ive things attracting people in Punjab

Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Tsunami is hitting hard the far flung areas and districts of Punjab, the largest province of Pakistan.
Surprisingly, Khan and his party are attracting large audiences all across the province, which considered to be a stronghold of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
As election day gets near, the excitement and heat go up and up with the PTI gatherings. Besides charisma of Imran Khan, following things could be called important factors attracting such large audiences.

Hope of Change
Various surveys show that people are tensed about worsening economic condition, lawlessness and unemployment.
PTI processions aimed at addressing these things with big promises of eradicating alleged corrupt and unjust system of the country.
So hope drifts people towards Tsunami gatherings.
Imran Khan’s persona
It could be called the base of PTI processions allover the country especially in Punajb, which is the main area of interest for the party.
Personal attraction and hot speeches from Khan have been a main source to gather large number of people.
 Volunteers Base
Another major magnet to attract people towards PTI programs even in scathing heat is its dedicated volunteers network.

Working day and night to run election campaigns even on their own expenses, is a type of thing which is enjoyed only a couple parties like Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan.

Religious Values
Its bit contradictory, but the overall wording and environment also integrate Islamic values in the gatherings. Even some anthems provoke religious sentiment towards change in the system.
Quoting Islamic personalities in speeches of Imran Khan is common, so giving people with religious mindset reason to get closer with PTI.

Entertainment
The PTI gatherings or Jalsas provide a unique blend of entertainment with theme-based songs and anthems enthralling the supporters.
You feel motivated and excited while attending PTI gatherings, and these are the things required to win an election.

But the question could be asked: is attracting such large audiences helpful in winning election or not? And answer to this question will be clear only on May 11, the election day.

Shari'ah, Democracy, Khilafah - Conflict or Compatible ? خلافت

Democracy has taken a number of forms, both in theory and practice. Some varieties of democracy provide better representation and more freedom for their citizens than others. Justice, tolerance, equity and moderation is hallmark of Islam, which accords great value to human life, whether Muslims and non Muslims alike. The so called corrupt and incompetent democratic governments in Muslim lands have shaken the confidence of people of in democracy. Hence disillusioned people blame democracy for all the ills, some demanding military dictatorship or Caliphate [Khilafa] while others talk of Shari’a to resolve injustice, corruption and other ills plaguing society. Exploiting the religious sentiments of the simple people, proponents of Caliphate declare democracy as un-Islamic or Haram [forbidden] and Kufr [disbelief]. Establishment of one global Caliphate is their final objective. Verses from Quran and Hadith are quoted to advance their arguments. While there are many reputed Islamic scholars who consider democracy with in bounds of Shari’a as a good system for Muslims. They also think that instead of copying a particular Western democratic system, each Muslim society should adopt a reformed democratic system suitable to its people, faith, culture and environments. The diverse views demand an objective analysis.

Dear PTI Supporters,

Being on the campaign trail, I have interacted with people all over the country and I am happy to share with you that Change has come to Pakistan!

This beautiful land of ours has suffered at the hands of Status quo for the past 65 years. They have failed miserably to improve the lives of its citizens. They have missed the noble opportunity of serving Pakistan because they were too busy serving themselves.

The General Elections of 2013 will be a pivotal moment in our history. The other parties will use money stolen from our country's honest, hardworking, taxpaying citizens. On the other hand, we will be armed with the passion of those citizens and our people living outside of Pakistan who wish to see a Change in Pakistan. Our people have realized that Pakistan is declining and they must take ownership of the country. They have decided to stand up against the Status quo and I am happy to tell you that people have chosen Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as the means to save Pakistan.

It has taken us seventeen years to get to this point. Many sacrifices have been made, but I can tell you that it has all been well worth it. The once in a lifetime opportunity to create a 'Naya Pakistan' is knocking at our door. It is just 33 days away. I invite you to participate in this historic movement by joining my Tabdeeli Razakar team athttp://tabdeeli.insaf.pk and/or by contributing $50 (Rs. 5000) or more to our Naya Pakistan fund at http://elections.insaf.pk/NayaPakistanFund or via the PayPal link below:

As a PTI supporter, you have played a phenomenal role in our success. Continue being part of the change you are seeking, we are only a few days away from building a Naya Pakistan!

Ideology of Pakistan - Fact or Fiction - An Analysis - نظریہ پاکستان - حقیقت یا افسانہ: تجزیہ

"Pakistan was founded because the Muslims of this sub-continent wanted to build up their lives in accordance with the teachings and traditions of Islam, because they wanted to demonstrate to the world that Islam provides a panacea to the many diseases which have crept into the life of humanity today."
"Islam does not recognize either priesthood or any sacerdotal authority; and, therefore, the question of a theocracy simply does not arise in Islam. If there are any who still use the word theocracy in the same breath as the polity of Pakistan, they are either labouring under a grave misapprehension, or indulging in mischievous "propaganda."

"The Preamble of the Resolution deals with a frank and unequivocal recognition of the fact that all authority must be subservient to God. It is quite true that this is in direct contradiction to the Machiavellian ideas regarding a polity where spiritual and ethical values should play no part in the governance of the people and, therefore, it is also perhaps a little out of fashion to remind ourselves of the fact that the State should be an instrument of beneficence and not of evil."

"The Muslim [in Pakistan] shall be enabled to order their lives in the individual and collective spheres in accord with the teachings and requirements of Islam as set out in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah"[Excerpts: Liaquat Ali Khan, the 1st Prime Minister of Pakistan, on the Objectives Resolution, March 9, 1949]  Keep reading >>>>> to find about ..... Two-Nation Theory .... The Objectives Resolution i... theocracy or democracy .... Trust and Amanah , Sadiq , Ameen- Applying section 62, 63 Constituion of Pakistsanin

There is debate on the application of Article 62, 63 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, according to which the person to be elected member of Parliament [legislator] should be Sadiq and Ameen [Truthful & Trustworthy]. There is a group including "scholars" who think that "Sadiq and Ameen" are the traits of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Which is a correct statement but by implication they mean that it should not be applied to any one else! Every one is aware that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is role model for Muslims, who love him and follow his Sunnah in every possible way. It is not understandable that why Muslims should not be "Sadiq and Ameen"? No where in Quran or Sunnah Muslims have been exempted to be "Sadiq and Ameen", rather on the controary they are commanded to be as clearly evident from Quran 4:68-59.

Apart from Islam; "honesty and trustworhiness"  is a common human trait of ethics, accepted and practiced all over the world irrrespective of race or religion.
Here is an interesting snapshot of Tweets by Sana Bucha (journalist, TV anchor, Tahir Asharafi, a liberal religious scholar & Aftab Khan) exchanges:

صادق و امین یا بد دیانت دھوکے باز

"...nor sell my revelations for a trifling price...." (Quran; 2:41)

It basically warns against ignoring the verses of the Almighty for the petty reason of love of this world. In other words, the Qur'an is telling us that when the Almighty demands from us sacrifice for the sake of religion, like spending wealth in his way, or accepting the opinion of someone whom we otherwise don't like, we have to, indeed, sacrifice our wealth or pride. Those who don't respond to the Almighty's call, are, as if, selling the Almighty's verses and purchasing petty worldly gains in exchange. The Jews, who are the direct addressees of this verse, were especially guilty of this crime, when they refused to accept prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu alaihi wassallam, as the messenger of Allah. And this for the petty reason that they did not want to accept a prophet from Bani Isma'il, who they thought was an inferior race to theirs.
Hypocracy:

Jesus Christ [peace be upon] said: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness." [Matthew 23:23-27, NIV]
In other words, they (teachers of law. religous peole, clergy) were extremely picky about the "little things" (imagine going through your spice rack every week and taking out a tenth of everything in it to give to God, as Jesus described them doing), but foolishly careless regarding the "big things," overlooking weightier matters of true importance; specifically justice, mercy and faith.
A modern comparison comes to mind: being obsessive about the air pressure in your car's tires, but never checking the oil level in the engine. You're straining out a gnat (your car's "rolling resistance" is perfect!) but swallowing a camel (burning the motor up through negligence).
The way Returning Officers applying 62,63 .... ignoring real issue of corruption of billions but asking of Kalams and Ayas.

The Command to Return the Trusts to Whomever They are Due
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. (Quran 4:58-59)
As to who is the addressee of this command, there are two probabilities: It could have been addressed to the general body of Muslims, or it could have been addressed particularly to those in authority. What is more obvious here is that the ayah is addressed to everyone who holds anything in trust. This includes the masses and also those in authority.
The Emphasis Laid on Fulfilling Trust Obligations
The functional outcome of the command in the ayah is that everyone who holds anything in trust with him is duty-bound to see that trust obligations are faithfully fulfilled and that the rightful recipients have in their hands what is their due. The Prophet sallAllahu aalyhi wa sallam has laid great stress on the fulfillment of trust obligations. Anas radhiAllahu anhu says: It must have been a rare sermon indeed in which the Prophet may not have said the following words,
“One who does not fulfill trust obligations has no Faith (emaan) with him; and one who does not stand by his word of promise has no religion with him.”[Reported by al-Baihaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman]
Breach of Trust is a Sign of Hypocrisy
According to narrations from Abu Hurairah and Ibn Umar radhiAllahu anhum appearing in al-Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet sallAllahu aalyhi wa sallam while describing the signs of hypocrisy on a certain day, pointed out to a particular sign which was:
“Give him an amanah and he will do khiyanah.
It means when a hypocrite is charged with a trust obligation, he will commit a breach of trust.
Kinds of Trust Obligations
Here, worth pondering is the Qur’anic use of the word, Amanat which is in the plural form. This is to hint that amanah (trust obligation) is not simply limited to cash or kind which someone may have entrusted to someone else for safe-keeping until demanded, which is the most prevailing and commonly understood form of amanah. The cue is that there are other kinds of amanah as well. For example, the incident mentioned earlier under the background of the revelation of this ayah does not have financial aspect to it. The key to the Baytullah was not a financial asset. Instead, this key was a symbol of the office of the serving keeper of the Baytullah.
